Giving Back This Holiday Season: Supporting Chris' Hero Pets
At Revive Auto Detailing, the holiday season is a time to give back to the community that has supported us throughout the year. Every December, we choose a local nonprofit to receive 10% of our gift card sales for the month, and this year, we’re proud to support Chris' Hero Pets.
Our connection with Chris' Hero Pets goes back to the early days of Revive, when we were still a mobile detailing service. It’s been an honor and a privilege to provide ongoing care and elevated services to the Chris Car as our skills and services have grown.

How It Started
Our journey with Jo-Ann Clark, founder of Chris' Hero Pets, began in 2020 at a veterans rally, where Brent had the privilege of meeting her. Hearing Jo-Ann’s story and learning about her mission to honor her son, Christopher Allen Journeau, was profoundly moving. Brent was inspired to help preserve the legacy of the car Chris loved so much, providing care for the Chris Car at no cost. This way, Jo-Ann could focus on her mission, knowing that Chris’ memory was being honored with care and respect.
Since that first meeting, our friendship with Jo-Ann has grown, and so has our commitment to honoring Chris’ legacy. A 2020 Seacoast Online article captured the early days of this collaboration, marking the start of something deeply meaningful for both our team and the community.
Chris’ Hero Pets: Making a Difference for Veterans
Chris’ Hero Pets was founded in memory of Christopher Allen Journeau, a young veteran who tragically lost his life to PTSD. The program is dedicated to supporting veterans by recognizing the profound impact that companion animals can have on their well-being.
By partnering with local shelters, Chris’ Hero Pets helps cover adoption fees for veterans seeking a companion animal. This allows veterans to experience the comfort, connection, and loyalty that pets bring, without the financial barrier. While not all veterans need a service dog, having a loyal companion by their side can make a significant difference.
Jo-Ann, a Gold Star mom, started this program to honor her son and raise awareness about PTSD. She believes that a companion animal could have profoundly altered Chris’ life after returning from Iraq and is committed to helping prevent similar tragedies by fostering these invaluable human-animal bonds.
