A car wash is a quick, maintenance-level cleaning designed to remove surface dirt, dust, and debris. It’s a basic service meant to keep your vehicle presentable between deep cleanings. By contrast, auto detailing is a comprehensive service that goes far beyond a standard car wash. Professional car detailing includes deep interior and exterior cleaning, paint decontamination, polishing, and even protective treatments like ceramic coating or paint protection film (PPF). Detailing restores your car’s shine, protects its surfaces, and maintains its long-term value.
-
Paint correction is a specialized detailing process that restores and enhances your vehicle’s paintwork. Using professional polishing machines, pads, and compounds, we carefully level the clear coat to remove imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. The result is a smoother, high-gloss finish that makes your car look showroom-new. Paint correction is often paired with ceramic coating or PPF to lock in the results and provide lasting protection.
-
Both PPF and ceramic coating protect your car’s paint, but in different ways:
Paint Protection Film (PPF): A clear, durable polyurethane film applied to your car’s most vulnerable areas. PPF provides rock chip protection, scratch resistance, and impact shielding while enhancing gloss.
Ceramic Coating: A liquid nano-ceramic polymer that bonds with your car’s clear coat. It creates a hydrophobic (water-repelling) layer that makes cleaning easier, prevents UV damage, and adds long-lasting shine.
Most owners choose PPF for high-impact areas (front bumper, hood, mirrors) and ceramic coating for overall protection and easy maintenance.
-
A professional ceramic coating can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years, depending on the product and maintenance. Some premium coatings even offer lifetime warranties with proper care. At our shop, our most popular ceramic coating packages are 6-year and 10-year coatings, designed to give your car long-term shine and protection.
-
Yes! Ceramic coating isn’t just for paint. It can be applied to your car’s glass, wheels, plastic trim, and even some interior surfaces. On glass, it improves visibility in rain. On wheels and trim, it makes cleaning much easier while resisting brake dust, dirt, and UV damage.
-
Interior coatings add a layer of protection to fabric, leather, and plastic surfaces. They make interiors stain-resistant, water-repellent, and easier to clean. Interior ceramic coatings also help prevent fading from UV rays, keeping your cabin looking newer for longer.
-
Wax, sealants, and ceramic coatings are all forms of paint protection, but they differ in durability, composition, and performance. Wax is the most traditional option, usually made from natural carnauba or synthetic blends, and gives a glossy shine with short-term protection lasting just a few weeks. Sealants are a synthetic polymer blend, offering similar benefits to wax but with better longevity—typically 3 to 12 months—while also being easier to apply without the risk of damaging trim, PPF, or leaving behind the white wax residue in cracks and around badges. Ceramic coatings are the most advanced and durable option, forming a hard, semi-permanent layer that bonds to the paint and can last years with proper maintenance. They provide superior protection against UV rays, chemicals, and environmental contaminants, as well as enhanced gloss and hydrophobic properties.
-
Not every vehicle needs full-body PPF. Most owners choose paint protection film for high-impact areas that are most prone to chips and scratches, such as the front bumper, hood, fenders, and side mirrors. High-value or luxury car owners sometimes opt for full-body PPF installation to preserve resale value and achieve maximum protection.
-
High-quality paint protection films typically last 10–12 years, while lower-grade films may last closer to 5–6 years. Factors like film quality, installation, and maintenance will affect durability. Professional PPF not only shields against road debris but also self-heals minor scratches and enhances gloss.
-
To get the most out of your ceramic coating, follow these care tips:
Wash your car with pH-neutral car shampoo.
Use clean, soft microfiber towels and mitts.
Avoid harsh chemicals and automatic car washes with brushes.
Apply a maintenance spray or ceramic topcoat once or twice a year.
With proper care, your coating will continue to repel water, resist dirt, and protect your paint for years.

Engine bay cleaning removes dirt, dust, and grease buildup under the hood. A basic cleaning service wipes down plastics and applies dressings for a fresh look. Full engine bay detailing goes further with steam cleaning, degreasing, and restoring components to a fresh-cleaned condition. This service is ideal for car enthusiasts, resale preparation, or simply keeping your engine area clean and well-maintained.
-
Most scratches and swirl marks can be removed through paint correction detailing, which uses some combination of wet sanding, compounding, and polishing to level the clear coat. If the scratch has penetrated too deeply into the paint, additional repair, such as touch-up or repainting, may be required. For light to moderate scratches, paint correction paired with ceramic coating or PPF provides a flawless finish and long-term protection.

The amount of time to detail a vehicle can vary drastically. Our most popular interior package (interior REFRESH) generally takes between 2-3 hours and our most popular exterior package takes about 1-2 hours, but we will work to provide you a more specific timeframe when we schedule your job. For ceramic coating jobs, we will generally keep the vehicle for 48 hours.

We have multiple different options for removing odors from a vehicle depending on the source of the odor and how long it has been present in the vehicle. Most odors can be removed through a deep clean and odor remediation treatment, however some heavy odors may require more than one session and excessively soiled vehicles may require replacement parts such as seats, carpet, and headliners. We are happy to give a free estimate for any odor removal.
